*Ek his cheez Kisi ke liye azab Aur kisi ke liye Rahmat Aur shadat ka zaria hai*
– أنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ عَنِ الطَّاعُونِ، فأخْبَرَهَا نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ: أنَّه كانَ عَذَابًا يَبْعَثُهُ اللَّهُ علَى مَن يَشَاءُ، فَجَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ رَحْمَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فليسَ مِن عَبْدٍ يَقَعُ الطَّاعُونُ، فَيَمْكُثُ في بَلَدِهِ صَابِرًا، يَعْلَمُ أنَّه لَنْ يُصِيبَهُ إلَّا ما كَتَبَ اللَّهُ له، إلَّا كانَ له مِثْلُ أجْرِ الشَّهِيدِ

كيونكہ رسول كريم صلى اللہ عليہ وسلم كا فرمان ہے:” طاعون ہرمسلمان كے ليے شھادت ہے”

اور نبى صلى اللہ عليہ وسلم كى زوجہ عائشہ رضى اللہ تعالى عنہا بيان كرتى ہيں كہ ميں نے رسول كريم صلى اللہ عليہ وسلم سے طاعون كے متعلق دريافت كيا تو انہوں نے مجھے بتايا كہ:
” يہ اللہ تعالى كا عذاب ہے جس پر چاہے اللہ تعالى مسلط كردے، اور اللہ تعالى نے اسے مومنوں كے ليے رحمت كا باعث بنايا ہے، جو كوئى بھى طاعون كى بيمارى ميں پڑ جائے اور پھر وہ صبر اور اللہ تعالى سے اجروثواب كى اميد ركھتے ہوئے اپنے علاقے ميں ہى رہے، اسے يہ علم ہو كہ اسے وہى تكليف پہنچ سكتى ہے جو اللہ تعالى نے اس كے مقدر ميں لكھ دى ہے، تو اسے شہيد جتنا اجروثواب حاصل ہوگا”

– Dying of the plague, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The plague is martyrdom for every Muslim.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2830; Muslim, 1916.It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), said: I asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about the plague, and he told me that it is a punishment that Allaah sends upon whomsoever He will, and that Allaah has made it a mercy for the believers, for there is no one who stays in his land at the time of a plague, bearing that with patience and seeking Allaah’s reward, knowing that nothing will befall him but that which Allaah has decreed for him, but he will be given a reward like that of a martyr.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3474.

*Albidaya wannihaya main Ibne kaseer ne 25 hazar amwaat ki tedad bataee*
وفيها: سار عياض إلى الموصل فافتتحها وما حولها عنوة.وفيها: بنى سعد جامع الكوفة.
وقال الواقدي: وفيها: كان طاعون عمواس، فمات فيه خمسة وعشرون ألفا.
قلت: هذا الطاعون منسوب إلى بلدة صغيرة يقال لها: عمواس – وهي بين القدس والرمله – لأنها كانت أول ما نجم الداء بها، ثم انتشر في الشام منها فنسب إليها، فإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
قال الواقدي: توفي في عام طاعون عمواس من المسلمين بالشام خمسة وعشرون ألفا.
وقال غيره: ثلاثون ألفا.

قال أبو الحسن المدائني : ” كانت الطواعين المشهورة العظام في الإسلام خمسة : طاعون شيرويه بالمدائن في عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سنة ست من الهجرة ، ثم طاعون عمواس في زمن عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه كان بالشام ، مات فيه خمسة وعشرون ألفا ، ثم طاعون في زمن ابن الزبير في شوال سنة تسع وستين مات في ثلاثة أيام في كل يوم سبعون ألفا ، مات فيه لأنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه ثلاثة وثمانون ابنا ، وقيل : ثلاثة وسبعون ابنا ، ومات لعبد الرحمن بن أبي بكرة أربعون ابنا ، ثم طاعون الفتيات في شوال سنة سبع وثمانين ، ثم طاعون سنة إحدى وثلاثين ومائة في رجب ، واشتد في رمضان ، وكان يحصى في سكة المربد في كل يوم ألف جنازة ، ثم خف في شوال.
وكان بالكوفة طاعون سنة خمسين ، وفيه توفي المغيرة بن شعبة.
